Privacy policy

Last updated 17 September 2026. This policy covers the Foundry website and every Foundry product (Figma plugins, browser extensions, web tools).

What we collect

• This website: nothing. It is a static site with no analytics, cookies or forms.
• Products: your design files, browser content and documents stay on your device. Products do not send that content anywhere.
• Anonymous usage counts (opt-in): some products can send a daily count of events such as "opened", "hit free limit", "upgraded". These contain no user identifier, no IP retention, no file content, and are off unless you turn them on in the product.
• Licence activation (paid unlock): when you paste a key, the product sends that key's order reference — nothing else — to our licence server once, to confirm it hasn't been refunded. The check is not repeated while you use the product.
• Purchases: handled by Figma (for Figma plugins) or by our merchant of record (for everything else). They process your payment details under their own privacy policies; we receive only what is needed to activate your licence (an order reference and, for licence keys, the email you gave at checkout).

Why

To make the product work, to activate what you paid for, and to know which features people use so we improve the right ones. We do not sell or share data with advertisers.

Permissions

Each product's store listing states exactly which permissions it asks for and why. We request the minimum needed for the feature you see.

Retention and your rights

Licence records are kept for as long as your licence is valid plus the period required for tax records. Anonymous counts are kept as aggregates only. Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or complain to the ICO. Email info@gankdat.com.
